Domestic Shorthair Brown Tabby
Zack recently came to VOKRA when his elderly owner could no longer care for him. It was a big adjustment for him to move to a new home, but he has done very well. Zack is a sweet and affectionate guy who is very shy with people that he has just met. It took time to win him over but slowly, and with patience, he started spending more time with his foster family and has now been described as king of the house! Zack does not like having his tummy or feet touched, and he will let you know, but he loves to cuddle with people he is fond of and be petted on the head, cheeks, and back. He has coexisted with small dogs in two different homes, his original home and his foster home. Zack would be best in a quiet home with experienced, patient adopters who will give him to adjust to his new environment. If there are children in the home, they should be older. Do you have a home for this handsome guy?

Oates and Hall are delightful siblings searching for a forever home together. Oates is shy but has an incredibly loving heart. Once he feels safe and secure, he blossoms into a sweet companion, offering gentle purrs that will melt your heart. He loves being pet, and is highly appreciative of chin and tummy rubs, but requires gentleness with everything. He is very content laying beside you, especially if you have a hand resting on him. While Oates is still a work in progress when it comes to being picked up, he likes to follow you around in the hopes that you will bend over and pet him. Oates likes to play with toys. Ruari is a kitty who has had a hard life and is looking for a loving forever home. We believe he once had a home, but was abandoned to life on the street for some years. He lost some teeth and the sight in one eye. While in foster care, he has shown that he will need time to learn to trust people. But don't let that put you off. Once he is comfortable in his new home, he will spend his time in living areas with the people of the household. He isn't even scared off by the vacuum cleaner. Given a supply of toys, he will play with great vigor. He is an excellent climber, runner, and jumper. He requires a monthly injection for arthritis, but this works quite well at maintaining his status as star athlete of his current foster home. His hard years haven't slowed him down. There are two other cats in his current foster home. There was some friction at first, but everyone seems to get along fine now. Ruari seems quite content to amuse himself during the day and is well behaved. At meal-times, you will have a purring friend if you hold the spoon out for him to lick. He may even stand on his back legs for you.

Domestic Medium Hair Black
I'm the strong silent type. (hahaha! That is such a silly way to describe any kitten.) I'm a typical kitten. I run, I jump, I chase, and I play, play, play! You will certainly know that I'm around because of how much playing I do. But I'm strong because I'm not scared of things like dogs or vacuum cleaners, and I'm silent because I don't yell quite as much as my siblings for attention. Does that mean that I'm not interested in getting attention? No, it does not. I love to be fussed over (especially by my sister, Skye). In fact, I'm just a big softy, literally. I also love my food, and that is when I'm the loudest. I still don't scream for food like my silly siblings, I purr for my food! Must adopt with Skye.
Domestic Medium Hair Black
They call me Skye because I'm a pretty little cat who flies through the air. OK, ok, I don't literally fly, but when I jump for a toy, I go so high that it feels like flying. When I catch a toy, do I ever work hard to hang onto it. I have three bigger brothers, you see, and so I can't be a push over. I will chase, race, and wrestle with the best of them. My brother, Rubble, is my favourite. He's so warm to sleep with, and I take great care to keep him looking his best. I'm not scared of people, but I'm still deciding if they are worth my time or not. Sometimes, they are lovely and warm to curl up against, and there is something to be said for a good scratch in hard to get spots. And they definitely have great treats to offer. I think I'm leaning toward liking people. You show me what you've got to offer, and I'm sure we can work out a good cat-human relationship. Must adopt with Rubble.
